In handling "Out of Valence" from the GF 40 or the GF 40XRR, the LX lists are used in the order LX-3, LX-2, LX-1, and if necessary, the. last step of 220H.
"Clear each word on the list before assessing it and take reads as they appear while clearing each item. "
When you have the item you check with the pc to see if he is interested is running it. This is Standard procedure when running any R3R item (exceptions are as covered in Tech issues on Drug/Alcohol handling and Expanded Dianetics.) The omission of this results in auditing PCs over protest and can severely upset, the case.
The commands of an LX 3 item would be as follows:
1. "Recall another causing you to take the attitude of _______ (LX 3 item). "
2. "Recall you causing another to take the attitude of ________ (LX 3 item). "
3. "Recall another causing another or others to take the attitude of _______ (LX 3 item). "
F1. "Locate an incident of another causing you to take the attitude of _______ (LX 3 item). "
F2. "Locate an incident of your causing another to take the attitude of _______ (LX 3 item). "
F3. "Locate an incident of another causing another or others to take the attitude of ________ (LX 3 item). "
Of course alter ABCD and the check for E/S, you'd go earlier as in Standard R3R, asking for an Earlier Similar incident. The Earlier Similar command always contains the flow and item to keep the PC on the chain.
LX 3 is handled thoroughly, which means you would perform the above actions on each reading item of LX 3. You would start with the item assessed out and continue on to the next best reading item etc…
The end phenomena of the handling and use of LX lists is a Valence shift; you end off when the PC has a marked change in Valence.
